While we can't tell you the details about this piece due to its in-process status, what we can show you the mechanism that we have designed. Sixty-five of these are to be installed on the site and mounted on the ceiling. The concept started as a folding paper and tape model and resulted in this aluminum, fabric and steel cable model with a custom designed drive.
Stay tuned for the installation- the official opening cermemony, along with the Dappled LED project, will be on June 26th, 2010.
